William Ronald “Ron” Yates, of Mount Forest, passed away at the Louise Marshall Hospital, Mount Forest, on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 in his 87th year. Beloved husband of June Yates (nee Humphries). Loving father of David Yates and his wife Suzanne Tucker and Gregory Yates and his wife Arlene Tehara. Cherished grandfather of Sam, Donald, William and Lauren. Dear brother of Joyce Tetlock. Predeceased by siblings Hazel Middlemiss, Trif Manning, Alice Pitsiladis. Ron was a graduate of McGill University, BSc ‘56, and a life-long employee of Sunlife Financial. Cremation has taken place. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society, Louise Marshall Hospital Foundation or Mount Forest United Church would be appreciated by the family.
