Obituary of Pat Moerman
Pat Moerman passed away peacefully at the Chatham Kent Health Alliance with her family at her side on April 28, 2019 at the age of 72.
Born in Petrolia, Pat Moerman was the daughter of the late Thomas and Beatrice (Paul) Coke.
Beloved wife of 44 years to Murray Moerman.
Loving mother to Brian & (Kate) Moerman of Charing Cross, Jason & (Tara) Moerman of Lucan, and Mark & (Denise) Moerman of Blenheim.
Beloved Oma to 7 grandchildren: Amelia, Benjamin, Emily, Mackenzie, Ethan, Blake, and Levi Moerman.
Dear sister to John (Betty) Coke of Rutherford, Larry (the late Mary Margaret) Coke of Tupperville, Donna (Larry) Cross of Sarnia, Diane (Francis) Brown of Dresden.
Sister in law to Gerry (Helen) of Blenheim, Anne (Ralph) of Mount Bridges, the late Jack (Ruth) Moerman of Blenheim, John (Eileen) Moerman of Ridgetown, and Nellie (Gerry) DeHaan of Carleton Place.
Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews and the late nephew Darren Cross and niece Krista O’Leary (Brown).
Pat trained as a Registered Nursing Assistant and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Chatham before starting her family. Pat was content living on the farm, watching her boys grow, tending to her chickens and the garden, and living life alongside the love of her life, Murray. She took great joy in becoming an Oma and delighted in every minute spent with her grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place.
Family and friends are invited to the Funeral Service held on Thursday May 2, 2019 at 11:00am at the First Reformed Church, 632 Lacroix St. Chatham, ON.
Private Family Interment will take place at the Evergreen Cemetery in Blenheim.
Donations made in memory of Pat to the First Reformed Church would be appreciated.
