ROSS, MARY LOU – It is with deep sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Mary Lou Ross (nee Dudenhoffer) on March 22nd, 2019 while on vacation in Florida. Predeceased by her husband of 36 years Ken Ross. Longtime loving companion of Ron Gatward for the past 10 ½ years. She will be mourned by her sons John (Mary-Ellen), Les (Kathleen) and Doug (Kim), as well as Ron’s family, his sons, Steve and Rob Gatward and his grandson Dylan. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Justin (Laura), Jordan (Emily), Kaitlin (Patric), Jamie (Arielle), Kyle (Melissa) and Madie. Mary Lou was also absolutely thrilled to be a great grandmother to Ethan and Oliver. A dedicated and active member of St Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Lindsay, where she headed or served on many committees and thrived in the role of helping others less fortunate than herself. Mary Lou was a long time employee of Bell Canada. She was an involved and active community volunteer in both Lindsay and Peterborough. An enthusiastic golfer who loved the people she played with as much as the game itself. She was also known as a Neil Diamond fan, an eager card player, a welcoming hostess and above all, a woman who deeply loved spending time with her family. Her family, and Ron will miss her deeply and profoundly. In keeping with Mary Lou’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 40 William Street North, Lindsay (705-324-4842) on Friday, April 19 from 6-9 P.M.
