Mary’s Obituary
Passed peacefully away surrounded by her loving family, Mary Elizabeth Blanchard nee Knott, at the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL, on Sunday, April 21st, 2019, in her 83rd, year.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband; Walter, her daughter; Holly Giggey (Danny), granddaughter; Crystal Blanchard (Barry Young), grandson; Andrew Cullihall (Brittany Fletcher), great grandchildren; McKenze, Tommy, and Julia, whom she loved more than life itself, very special friends; Russ and Ivy Crocker, of Trout River, and John and Clare Hewlin, along with their children of Deer Lake. Also a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. Mary was predeceased by her mother and father; Amelia and James Knott, of Norris Pt, NL. She was the last living of her 5 siblings; Dorothy Roberts (Harry), Ruby Galway (Cyril), Elaine Sheppard (Tony), Benjamin Knott (Bessie), and Tom Knott (Ann).
With special thanks to all of her nieces, and nephews in Norris Pt, NL, and St.John’s, NL, for staying endlessly by her side. Their love and devotion cannot be matched, and also the staff of the Bonne Bay Health Centre, in Norris Pt, NL.
In keeping with Mary’s wishes cremation will take place and then the family will be receiving family and friends at the Church of the Epiphany, in Woody, Pt, on Wednesday, April 24th, 2019 from the hours of 7-9 pm, where also the Memorial service will take place from on Thursday, April 25th, 2019 at 2:00 pm with Deacon Francis Elgar officiating with the Inurnment to follow later on the spring.
