Death Notice
On April 21, 2019, Martha Hynes Corp passed away peacefully at University Hospital in her 96th year. Martha was an inspiration to those who knew and loved her. She had a kind heart, sharp mind and a remarkably positive outlook on life. Her life was well-lived. She was born Martha Hynes on June 9, 1923 in Sops Arm Newfoundland. As an adult, she most recently resided in Mississauga, Fergus, and London. She was preceded into death by her beloved husband, Donald Edward Corp (1924-2015), to whom she was married since 1952. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Karen, and son-in-law Gord Campbell. She was a devoted Granny to Braden Campbell, Adrienne Campbell-Washburn and Adrienne’s husband Tom Washburn. Cremation has taken place and a small family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to London Health Sciences Foundation.
