It is with great sadness that the family of the late Leo Duffenais announce his passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital on Thursday April 25th, 2019 at the age of 66 years. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Petrina Benoit (CJ Brumsey) in Marche’s Point, his son Keith Duffenais (Samantha Turrett) in Red Brook, his five grandchildren; Amber, Kyla, Octave, Kaydence and Ava. He also leaves with fond memories the mother of his children Leila, his seven brothers: Louis (Virgina) in Piccadilly, Richard (Martina), John (Elizabeth), Norman and Jerry all in Lourdes, Pat in Halifax,and Paul in PEI, his four sisters: Joanne (Darrell) Grimes in Corner Brook, Wanda Banks in PEI, Laverne Wiseman in Ontario and Margaret Penney in Corner Brook along with a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Leo and Emily Duffenais and by his grandson Cameron. The family will be receiving friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Lourdes on Saturday April 27th from 7-9 pm and on Sunday April 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where funeral services will take place on Monday April 29th at 2:30 pm with interment in the Roman catholic Cemetery in Three Rock Cove.
