Joyce Pugh
Joyce Pugh, 93, of Faubourg du
Mascaret, Moncton, and formerly of Highfield St., passed away
peacefully at her residence on Saturday, April 6, 2019, after a long
and productive life.
Born in Burtt’s Corner, she
was the daughter of the late Byron and Pearl (Brewer)
Jones.
She enjoyed
golfing, skiing, playing bridge, travelling with her husband, Paul,
and spending time with family and friends at the
beach.
Joyce will
be sadly missed by her children, Mike (Joanne) of Hillsborough, Brian
(Carol) of Quispamsis, Sharon (Peter) of Halifax and Mark (Dale) of
Moncton; grandchildren, Jason, Jeffrey, Alix, Jordan, Logan, Ashley,
Emily and Wesley; seven great grandchildren; brother, Burpee Jones
(Freda); several nieces, nephews and extended family
members.
In addition
to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Dr. Paul Pugh
(September 2018); brother, Paul Jones and sister, Norma
VanBuskirk.
In honoring
Joyce’s wishes, there will be no visitation hours or funeral
service. Funeral arrangements under the care of Fergusons Funeral
Home, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton
(858-1995).
In memory of
Joyce, donations to the Friends of The Moncton Hospital or a memorial
of the donor’s choice would be appreciated. Online
