Joanne Frances Perry
August 22, 1932 – April 12, 2019
Died peacefully at Hospice Prince Edward on Friday April 12th, 2019. Joanne Perry, of East Lake, at the age of 86. Beloved mother of Bev Williams of East Lake, John Perry and his wife Jane of East Lake and Barbie Perry and her husband Michael Groff of Oshawa. Proud gran of Melanie, Megan (Jason), Tammy (Clyde), Matt (Elisa) and Karen (Chris) and great-gran of ten. Dear sister of Mary, Ruth, Nancy, Pat, Susan, Bub and the late David, Phyllis, Lawrence and Doug and remembered by their families. Joanne served in the East Lake UCW and the Eastern Star and loved her life on East Lake in the company of her cat Speckles. A celebration of Joanne’s life will be held at the Whattam Funeral Home, 33 Main Street, Picton on Thursday April 18th at 2 p.m. with family receiving friends the hour prior. Interment at Cherry Valley Cemetery to follow. If desired, donations to Hospice Prince Edward would be appreciated by the family.
