Passed away peacefully, with his loving family at his side, at the John Noble Home on Saturday, April 13th, 2019. Gord was in his 67th year. Beloved son of Alice and the late Jules Amirault (2002). Much loved brother of Gary and his wife Pauline Amirault. Proud uncle of Kyle (Anne Marie) and Joanna and very proud great uncle to Ben. Gord will be fondly remembered by his Aunt Rita and his many cousins. He took great pride in having worked at Community Living and was a well loved member of the John Noble Community where he would happily greet staff and visitors daily. Gord was an avid sports fan who especially liked to watch baseball and hockey. He loved animals, particularly dogs, and enjoyed listening to music. We would like to extend a sincere thank you to all of the caregivers and staff of the John Noble Home as well as Community Living, for taking care of Gord and helping to enrich his life. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Monday, April 15th from 6:30 – 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Tuesday, April 16th, at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow at Holy Cross Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the John Noble Home.
