GLASER János Ph D 1931 2019 avis de deces

GLASER, János Ph. D
1931 – 2019
Passed on to a better life with beloved wife of 50 years, Heidi by his side on April 9, 2019. He leaves behind his wife; his children, Ildikó and Imre (Natasha); his granddaughter Éva and his relatives in Hungary, England and Canada.
Born in Budapest, János escaped his cherished country following the 1956 Hungarian Revolution to Montreal. A Scout in Hungary, János was involved with the Hungarian Scouting Association, as well as being active in Cursillo and in the St László Society. He taught religion at MacDonald Cartier High School and after retiring, decided to study for his Doctorate.
We shall miss his keen intellect, his unfailling politeness, his quiet humour and his generous heart. The family is greatful for the expertise of his doctors, Dr Izabela Klosowski and Dr Pedro Rosa Neto, as well for the care provided at the Residence Intermédiaire des Patriotes and the Geriatrics Floor at Honoré-Mercier Hospital.
Visitations will be held on Friday April 26 from 7pm to 9pm at:
Coopérative funéraire du Grand Montréal
Résidence de Saint-Hubert
5000, boulevard Cousineau
Saint-Hubert QC J3Y 7G5
Mass of Resurrection will be celebrated on Saturday April 27, 11:00am at St-Augustin of Canterbury Church in St-Bruno (105 Cherbourg). According to his wishes, in lieu of flowers please consider making a donation to either the Hungarian Scouting Association in Exteris, St-Augustine Parish, or the charity of your choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of GLASER János Ph D 1931 2019..
