Georgette Marie Menard (Laniel)
Décédée paisiblement, le jeudi 25 avril 2019, à l’âge de 92 ans. Elle était l’épouse bien-aimée de feu Aurel Ménard et la mère aimante de Michel, Suzanne (Ted Blair), Jean (Ruth Colbourne) et Diane (Armand Beauchamp).
Elle était la grand-mère chérie de Michael (Melissa), Stéphane (Brigitte), Nicholas, Naomi (Sylvain), Luc (Andrea) et Natasha (Eric).
Elle restera dans la mémoire de ses 11 arrière-petits-enfants, sa soeur, Germaine Fortier, ainsi que son frère, Garry (Edna) Fennessey.
La famille recevra parents et amis en la chapelle St-Laurent de Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200, chemin Ogilvie (angle Promenade de l’Aviation), Ottawa, le vendredi 3 mai, 2019 de 16 h à 20 h. La famille Ménard recevra les condoléances à nouveau en l’église Saint-Laurent, 5859, chemin Piperville, Carlsbad Springs, le samedi 4 mai, 2019 de 10 h jusqu’à la messe commémorative à 11 h. Une réception suivra l’inhumation des cendres au centre communautaire de Carlsbad Springs.
Au lieu de fleurs, des dons à la Société d’Alzheimer d’Ottawa et Renfrew seraient grandement appréciés par la famille.

Peacefully, on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Aurel Ménard.
Loving mother of Michel, Suzanne (Ted Blair), Jean (Ruth Colbourne) and Diane (Armand Beauchamp).
Cherished grandmother of Michael (Melissa), Stéphane (Brigitte), Nicholas, Naomi (Sylvain), Luc (Andrea) and Natasha (Eric).
Will be greatly missed by 11 great-grandchildren, her sister Germaine Fortier and her brother Garry (Edna) Fennessey.
Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway), Ottawa, on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 4-8pm. Family will also be receiving condolences at St. Laurent Catholic Church, 5958 Piperville Road, Carlsbad Springs, on Saturday, May 4, 2019 from 10am until time of Memorial Mass at 11am. A reception will take place after the interment at Carlsbad Springs’ Community Centre.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County.
