Peacefully, at St. Joseph’s Hospice, London, on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in his 92nd year. Elgin, beloved husband of the late Jessie (nee Galbraith). Loving father of Rodney and his wife Lori. Proud grandfather of Joshua Vanwyck (Sasha), Zachary Vanwyck, and Tyler Vanwyck. Dear brother of Jean (Vanwyck) Scott. Godfather of Kathy Savage (nee Vanwyck). Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Elsie Vanwyck, and his siblings Merle (Vanwyck) Traynor, and Harold Vanwyck.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 17th, 2019 from 7-9pm at the Breckenridge-Ashcroft Funeral Home, 241 9th Street West, Owen Sound, 519-376-2326. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday, April 18th, 2019 at 1:00pm. Reception to follow at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 865 2nd Ave West, Owen Sound. Spring Interment Annan Cemetery.
