David George Michell
David Passed away peacefully with his family at his side on April 19/2019 at Stanford Seniors Village in Parksville.
He is pre deceased by his loving wife Sharon Elaine (Kaminski).
David is survived by his son Daniel (Diane) Michell, Ladysmith. His daughter Debra (Robert) Raycraft, Campbell River. His grandchildren Sean (Amber) Raycraft, Prince George. Chad (Jessica) Raycraft,

David was born on April 7th, 1935 to parents Edward and Gwendoline in Calgary Alberta. He was the youngest of six. He spent most of his adult life in Saskatchewan, and moved to Parksville for the last few years.
Dave was a proud member of the RCMP from 1954 to 1978. He had had various types of employment prior to and after. He then became a Deputy Sheriff in the Provincial Courthouse in Saskatoon from which he retired in 1996.
Golfing, beer and winemaking were his passions in retirement, so you could usually find him swinging his club with his golfing buddies at Wildwood Golf Course in Saskatoon. They may have also enjoyed a glass together after a
day on the fairways.
David had the wonderful gift of gab, and made friends easily. The more friends he had, the more stories he could tell….and he loved to tell a story.
He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
The family is grateful for the loving care provided by the staff at Stanford Seniors Village in Parksville. According to his wishes, he will be cremated and no service will be held. If you wish, you may make a donation to the charity of your choice.
Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of David George Michell 2019..
