Sonny loved music and whistling. His tenor voice joined the Northern Harmony Singers, the Timmins Symphony Chorus, and other groups. He loved nature, camping, snowshoeing, walking, swimming, snorkeling, fishing, kayaking, hunting, leather tooling, reading, playing scrabble, eating, dancing, writing letters, traveling, creative woodworking and family history. He had great compassion for the downtrodden, an engaging smile and laugh, eyes that sparkled with joy and light, and deep faith and trust in His Saviour. He loved God, family, and friends and knew how to live each day with gladness and gratitude to God for all life’s blessings. Until we meet again, Sonny will remain forever in our hearts and memories.
