BAILLIE, Anna Alena -90, of River John, passed away April 1st, 2019. Born in River John, April 25th, 1928, Anna was a daughter of the late Henry and Christine (MacGregor) Baillie. Anna worked alongside her husband Jim on the family farm until their retirement in 2008. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Anna was a faithful member of St. George’s Presbyterian Church. Anna is survived by her daughters, Mary (Owen) Langille, Elizabeth Alexander; son, Jim (Shirley); daughter-in-law, Susan Brennan; grandchildren, Catherine (Sohael), Joey (Terri), Cindy, Jim (Tammy), Kelly (Travis), Cathy (Adam), Eric (Tamara); eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; sister, Marguerite (Keith) Robblee; brothers, Jack and Ron (Norma); sisters-in-law, Beth Brackett and Evelyn Baillie; many special nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her husband, Jim; sons, Ian and infant Ralph; son-in-law, Bob Alexander; sister, Eleanor Sutherland; brothers, Bill, Kenny and Angus. Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 4th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at St. George’s Presbyterian Church, River John, where the funeral will be held Friday April 5th at 2:00pm with burial in Bellevue Cemetery. A reception will follow in the church hall. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. George’s Presbyterian Church or Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated. www.mclarenfuneral.ca
