It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alexander at the age of 81 years. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife Elli of 58 years, and his daughter Margaret, brother Paul (Anne) of Vernon, BC, sister Helen Probek, sister-in-laws: Toby Probek, and Selma Eggert, all of Edmonton, along with family and friends. He is predeceased by his siblings: Richard, Eduard, and Irma.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Surmawala, Dr. Siddiqui, and the care staff at Allen Gray, the Grey Nuns, and U of A hospital. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 2:00pm at Serenity Funeral Service, North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, with interment to follow at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.
