McEACHERN, Frank – passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Frank was in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Joyce (nee: Clayton) in 1985. Loving father of Lynne and Rick Hallett and Mike and Wilma McEachern. Proud grandfather of Patricia (Ron) Susman of Pickering, Sheena McEachern of Calgary and Kayla (Dan) Hendricks of Philadelphia. Great grandfather of Kevin Susman, Rachael Susman and Alexis McEachern. Step grandfather to John, Lisa (Shawn) Rollinson, Wendy (Rob) Pengelly, and Sandra Harrison (Jim Spence). Step great grandfather of Devin Rollinson, Brttnee Rollinson, Danielle (Steve) MacLeod, Dustin Pengelly, the late Bryce Pengelly, Kayla Harrison and Kelsea Harrison and step great great grandfather of seven, all of BC. Frank served in the Royal Canadian Navy aboard the HMCS Haida. He was a retired employee of Burtch Correctional Center after 30 years of service. He was an avid sportsman and Bridge player. Frank was a former executive of the Brantford Retirees Golf League at Northridge Golf Course, a former executive of the Good Fellowship Bowling League and a former member of the Knights of Columbus. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Monday, March 25th from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to be held at St. Pius X Roman Catholic Church, 9 Waverly Street, Brantford on Tuesday, March 26th at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
