William “Bill” Armstrong passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, March 25, 2019 at the age of 83 years old. Born in Penticton, B.C. on January 18, 1936, he is predeceased by his parents, Len and Vivian and his son, Alan.
Bill joined the army in 1954, serving over 20 years with the Lord Strathcona Horse.
He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Janice; his children, Ken (Michelle), Sherry (Brad), Tracy (Peter); nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several cousins. At Bill’s request there will be no funeral service.
