Weldon Clifford Turner, Jr. “Weldie”
– 58, Truro, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28,
2019, at Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in Truro, he
was a son of Weldon Turner, Sr., Truro and Eileen Cook,
Debert.
Weldie was a gentle soul who loved his family and friends and
will be missed by all who knew him. He was a collector of vinyl and an
avid movie watcher.
Along with his parents, Weldie is survived by his sisters,
Shelly Shipley (Gordon), Debert; Marlene Currie (Greg), Truro; Sherry
Turner (Jeff), Portapique; six nieces and nephews.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall –
Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro, where Weldie’s
family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, March 31, 2019. If
so desired, donations in Weldie’s memory to IWK Health
