Peacefully
at the Kings County Memorial Hospital J. Wayne MacPhee of
Montague, age 72, devoted husband of 47 years to Debbie (Peardon)
MacPhee, occurred on Saturday, March 2, 2019, with his family by his
side. Born in Montague, August 30, 1946, he was the son of the late
Alex A. and Marjorie (MacKinnon) MacPhee. Wayne was a carpenter,
working over 47 years in construction and a volunteer Fireman over 35
years at the Montague Fire Department. Wayne is survived by his
children, Melanie (Dale) Hume, Steven, Justin (Miranda Reeves) several
cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Jean MacDonald
(Lloyd deceased) and Dotty Squires (Elmer deceased).
Resting at Ferguson Logan
Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Tuesday, March 5, 2019, from 6
to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held on Wednesday, March 6, at 1:00pm,
from the Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to take place in the
Valleyfield Cemetery in the Spring. Donations to the Valleyfield
Cemetery would be appreciated by the family.

Funeral Service will be Live Streamed for
those who can’t make it. There will be a black camera on the left hand
side of the obituary. If you open that at 12:45 pm on Wednesday, it
will open live to the chapel.
