Elementary School Teacher for 36 years
At the Dundas Manor Nursing Home, Winchester on Friday, March 1, 2019, Ruth Styles (nee Beckstead) of Iroquois, age 95. Beloved wife of the late James H. Styles. Loving mother of Christine Leng (Siegfried) of Russell, David of Iroquois, Barbara Vingerhoeds (Gerry) of Carleton Place and Marikay Styles of L’Original. Dear sister of Harry Beckstead (Arlie) of Brockville and Glenn Becksted (Donna) of Morrisburg. Ruth will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Kirsten, Elissa, Michael, Travis, Carrie, Brandon, Christopher, Jenna and great-grandchildren Octavia, Nicolas, Sebastian, Alexander, William, Thomas, Henry, Delilah, Yannah, Jepson and Sullivan. Predeceased by her parents Grant and Inda Beckstead (nee Larmour). Also survived by nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
Friends may call at the Marsden and McLaughlin Funeral Home, Iroquois, on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. An Order of the Eastern Star service will be held on Tuesday evening at 6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, March 6th at 1 p.m. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society, SOS Children’s Villages of Canada or Winchester Hospital would be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
