New-Jersey – À l’hôpital régional de Miramichi, le jeudi 13 mars 2019, à l’âge de 96 ans, est décédée Médora Drysdelle, épouse de feu Adélard Drysdelle. Elle demeurait au Complexe Rendez-Vous de Néguac, mais autrefois à New-Jersey, NB. Née le 8 août 1922, elle était fille de feu Aimé Benoit et de feu Elisabeth Basque.
Elle laisse dans le deuil cinq filles : Dorina (Douglas Holesworth), Léona (feu Jim Willard) et Géraldine (Darryl Kaiser) tous de Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Marie Anne (Daniel Robichaud) de New-Jersey, NB et Barbara Ann (Roland Poirier) de Lavillette; treize petits-enfants : Richard, Robert, Doris, Stephen, Edith, Cory, Sonia, Joanne, Steve, Matthew, Rina, Rosemonde et Edmond; seize arrière-petits-enfants : Martin, Mathieu, Véronique, Brendan, Kelley, Brent, Karine, Katrina, Kyle, Noah, Ty, Anika, Tyler, Crystelle, Zakari et Jacob; un arrière-arrière-petit-fils, Philippe ainsi que plusieurs belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis.
Outre ses parents et son époux; une fille, Diana (feu Terry Thomson); un fils, Clarence; deux sœurs : Elisabeth et Justina, ainsi que sept frères : Médric, Pierrot, Aimé, Azade, Dasie, Alvida et Valère l’ont précédée dans la tombe.
La famille recevra parents et amis à la Coopérative Funéraire ‘La Colombe’, 667, chemin Saulnier Ouest à Tracadie, ce vendredi 15 mars à partir de 14h. Les funérailles seront célébrées en l’église St-Irénée de St-Irénée, ce samedi 16 mars, à 11h.
Heures de visites : le vendredi 15 mars de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h et le samedi 16 mars de 9h30 jusqu’au départ pour les funérailles.
New Jersey – At the Miramichi Regional Hospital, on Thursday, March 13th, 2019, at the age of 96, passed away Médora Drysdelle, wife of the late Adélard Drysdelle. Residing at the Complexe Rendez-Vous in Néguac, formely from New-Jersey NB. Born August 8th, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Aimé Benoit and of the late Elisabeth Basque.
She will be sadly missed by her five daughters: Dorina (Douglas Holesworth), Léona (late Jim Willard) and Geraldine (Darryl Kaiser) all from Wetaskiwin, AB, Marie Anne (Daniel Robichaud) from New-Jersey NB and Barbara Ann (Roland Poirier) from Lavillette; 13 grandchildren: Richard, Robert, Doris, Stephen, Edith, Cory, Sonia, Joanne, Steve, Matthew, Rina, Rosemonde and Edmond; 16 great grandchildren: Martin, Mathieu, Véronique, Brendan, Kelley, Brent, Karine, Katrina, Kyle, Noah, Ty, Anika, Tyler, Crystelle, Zakari and Jacob; one great great grandson Philippe as well as many sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
As well as her parents and husband, Médora was predeceased by one daughter, Diana (late Terry Thomson); one son Clarence; two sisters: Elisabeth and Justina as well as seven brothers: Médric, Pierrot, Aimé, Azade, Dasie, Alvida and Valère.
The family will be receiving relatives and friends, at the «La Colombe» Funeral Cooperative, 667, Saulnier West road in Tracadie, Friday, March 15th at 2pm. The funeral services will be held at the St-Irénée RC church in St-Irénée, Saturday March 16th at 11am.
Visiting hours: Friday March 15th, from 2pm to 4pm and from 7pm to 9pm and Saturday March 16th until the funeral at 9:30am.
