It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mary Anne LeBlanc on March 17, 2019 at Bobby’s Hospice, at the age of 81. Mary was surrounded by her loving family when she passed. She was born in St. Marie, NB on July 27, 1937 to the late Levi and Laura (Roy) LeBlanc.
Mary was a very kind and pleasant person. She never got angry, was nice to everyone and was always quick with a smile. She loved to clean and she was very skilled at gardening, which was a passion of hers. She will be deeply missed.
Mary is survived by her 8 sisters and 1 brother; Florence (Ronald) Garland, Louise (Andy) Stacey, Lorraine Dupuis, Cecile LeBlanc, Alma (Victor) Legere, Claudette Downing, Rita (Leonard) Richard, Linda (Levi) Hachey and Gerald (Rachel) LeBlanc. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Yvon, brothers-in-law; Freddie Dupuis, Arthur LeBlanc and Gerald Downing, and sister-in-law Lena LeBlanc.
Mary’s family would like to express their gratitude to Gerald, Rachel, Gary, Heather and Barbara for the compassion and care given to Mary over these last many years. As well to the staff and volunteers of Bobby’s Hospice for making the last of Mary’s living days so comfortable, we are so appreciative.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2019 at 11am from St. Joachims and St. Ann Catholic Church (135 Simpson Drive, Saint John, NB) with interment to follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. For those who wish, donations made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
