It is with broken hearts that the family of the late
MARIE P. POWER of Spanish Room announces
her passing. Mrs. Power passed away peacefully at her home
in Spanish Room on Saturday, March 9th, 2019 at the age of
80. Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories
are her sons, Harry (Clara) Power of Marystown, and Eric Power of
Barrie, ON; daughters, Roberta Power of Kitchener, ON, Yvonne Jones of
Marystown, Leonna Mullett (Pad) of Spanish Room, Janet Mullett
(Brendan) of Spanish Room, and Linda Power (Jerome Coady) of
Scarborough, ON; daughter-in-law, Sharoll Dober (Brendan) of
Marystown; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters,
Bernadette Casey of San Diego, California, Bridgette Ward of
Marystown, and Shirley Hepditch of St. John’s; Jack Lambe
(Barbara) of Sudbury, ON, Cecil Lambe (Gertrude) of Marystown, and
Frank Lambe of Little St. Lawrence. Plus a large circle of
other relatives and friends.
Marie was predeceased by
her parents, Leo & Mary Lambe; husband, Robert Power; son
– Philip Power; infant daughter, Adele; son-in-law, Henry
Collins; and daughter-in-law, Karen Power.
The Power Family will be
accepting visitors at Wiseman’s Funeral Homes, Marystown on
Sunday, March 10th, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm; and
Monday, March 11th, from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm;
with a prayer vigil being held at 8:00 pm. Mass of Christian
Burial will take place from Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church,
Marystown on a date and time to be
announced.
Cremation to
follow.
