Maria passed away peacefully on Monday, March 11, 2019 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Antonio for 59 years. Loving mother of Ilda and her husband Gary. Much loved grandmother of Bradley and Jeffrey. Cherished Aunt of Silvia, Melinda and Darlene. Loving sister of Manuel (Maria Amelia), Ivonia (Manuel), Gabriel (Fatima) and the late Jose Antonio (Maria do Carmo). Friends may call at the Turner & Porter Yorke Chapel, 2357 Bloor St. W., at Windermere, east of the Jane Subway, on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral service in the Chapel on Saturday, March 16, 2019 at 9 a.m.. Entombment at Park Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in Maria’s name, please donate to the Princess Margaret Hospital.
