Obituary for Marg Crawford
Surrounded by family on Friday, March 14, 2019 at Trillium Villa Nursing Home, Edythe Marguerite Crawford (nee Fuller) went to be with her Lord in her 84th year. Marg was the beloved wife to Bob for 62 years. Cherished and loving mother to Kathy and her husband Victor Bresett, Patti and her husband Don Goulet, and Janice and her husband Steve McGuire. Proud grandma to Victoria (Gord) Connors and their children Maisie and Monroe, Josh Bresett, Mason Bresett, Jenna (Cam) Burch and their daughter Florence, Justine Goulet (Kyle Hurlock), Jordan Goulet, Jacob McGuire and Jonathon McGuire. Loved sister to Bill (Vi) Fuller. Predeceased by her parents Wilfred and Edythe Fuller, her sister-in-law Evangeline Fuller and her infant brother Gordon. She will be dearly missed by her extended family, friends and neighbours.
Marg was a kind woman who loved her family and looked for opportunities to do what she could for those she loved. Once a school teacher, Marg became a very active member of St. Paul’s United Church and the C.E.E. Hospital Auxiliary after her daughters were born. She was a dedicated volunteer, artist and musician who loved spending her winters in Florida as a reigning shuffleboard champion. In the last year, Marg’s health declined and she moved to Trillium Villa where she received excellent care by the staff. The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel for his many years of compassionate care.
Visitors will be received by the family on Sunday from 1-4 p.m. from the Needham-Jay Funeral Home, 4059 Petrolia Line, Petrolia, where a funeral service will take place on Monday, March 18, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Hillsdale Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made the St. Paul’s United Church Memorial Fund, or the C.E.E. Hospital Foundation (www.ceehf.ca).
