Lois Margaret Gaveronski (Schouten)
Lois passed away on Monday, March 25, 2019 at Santa Maria Senior Citizen’s Home, Regina, SK. She is predeceased by her first husband, Don Schouten; son Dwayne Schouten; daughter Laura Ullrich (Cal) and father Herald Balzer. Lois is survived by her husband Lorne; son Don (Penny); grandchildren Colin, Clint, Shannon and Teralene and several great grandchildren; mother Annie; sisters Leanne (Ed) and Pat (Jim), nieces, nephews and friends. Lois was born in 1946 to Herald and Annie Balzer in Pangman, SK, one of three beautiful girls. She attended Carnarvan School, a quarter of a mile from the homestead. In 1965 Lois married Don Schouten from Raymore, SK. They had three children Donald, Laura and Dwayne. Lois married Lorne Gaveronski in 1991 and lived and loved each other. Lois was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren and counting. Lois will be forever missed by her family and all those whose lives she touched. A Celebration of Lois’ Life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at Santa Maria Senior Citizen’s Home, 4215 Regina Ave. with a reception to follow. Graveside Service will follow at 3:00 pm at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery.
