Jonathan “Jon”
“Jonny” LeBlanc, 17, of Irishtown, passed away on Monday,
March 4, 2019.
Born in Banff, AB, he was the son of
Joanne Rockburn (Tristan Scott) and Daniel LeBlanc. Jon had recently
graduated (January 2019) from Moncton High School. Growing up, he was
involved with various sports and since the age of 5 played baseball
with the Moncton District Minor Baseball Association and hockey with
the Lewisville Minor Hockey Association. More recently he enjoyed
playing paintball and working at Maghill Paintball.
In addition to his parents, Jon
“Jonny” will be sadly missed by his grandmothers, Claudette
Levesque and Geraldine LeBlanc; aunts, Kristine LaChance,
Gaëtanne Petri (Henry) and Monique Desormeau (Gary Belyea);
uncle, Marcel LeBlanc (Sophie Hebert); cousins, Raya, Logan, Henry and
Dakota, Catherine and Olivier and his canine companion, Rex. Jon
“Jonny” was predeceased by his grandfather, Gerald “The
Horn” LeBlanc.
There will be no visitation hours or
funeral service. Arrangements in care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657
Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995).
