It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother, Joan Marilyn Houghton, nee Paeden. Age 78.
Joan passed peacefully at Belleville General Hospital surrounded by her family on Tuesday March 19th, 2019. Daughter of the late Gordon and Eileen Paeden of Port Hope, Ont.

Loving grandmother to Tanya, Darren, Taylor, and Makayla. Special great grandmother to Bryce, and Vayda. Fondly remembered by brother Barry Paeden (Loretta) and numerous nieces and nephews. Service to be held on Saturday March 23rd at Weaver Life Centre, 29 Bay Street, Trenton Ontario to gather from 2-3 PM followed by a short and informal memorial service at 3 PM. Donations will be accepted for the Canadian Heart and Stroke Foundation. Special thanks to the tremendous emergency doctors at Trenton Memorial Hospital for their professionalism and very special thanks to Dr Theodorou and ICU nurse Jeanie for their guidance and compassion.
