ROBINSON, Jim – Passed away peacefully at his Hespeler home on March 19th, 2019 at the age of 72. He was surrounded by his loving wife of 47 years, Debbie Robinson (nee Roblin); daughters Kelly Tucker and Joan E (Steve) Kennedy; brother-in-law Fred (Joan) Roblin and mother-in-law Joan Roblin. He was the best “Poppy” to 4 amazing grandkids; Kate Kennedy, Will Tucker, Sam Tucker and Luke Kennedy. He will be missed terribly by all those that knew and loved him. He was born on October 19th, 1946 to the late Arthur and Elma Robinson of Hespeler, Ontario. Jim had a rewarding career at Butler Metal Products and continued on his career until his retirement. A long standing member of the Galt Country Club, JR met many friends and furthered his love of the game. A dedicated husband, father and grandfather, Jim always gave back to his community and was eager for a conversation to talk politics. Family will receive relatives and friends at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Friday, March 22, 2019 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm. Cremation has taken place. At Jim’s request there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Cambridge Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
