It is with great sadness that the family of the late Glenda Mary Benoit announce her passing at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville, NL on Friday March 8, 2019 at the age of 59 years. Leaving behind with fond memories her loving partner Douglas Eddy, her sons; Travis (Nada) Callahan, Harold (Jes) Callahan, daughter Tina Callahan and four grandchildren; Ryan Kendall, Teisha Kendall, Taya Kendall & Ellie Callahan. Also leaving to mourn her three brothers; Peter (Florine) Benoit, Ralph (Bernice) Benoit, John (Sherry) Benoit, six sisters; Sarah LeRoy, Evelina (Joey) LeRoy, Karen Benoit, Delaine (Rodyer) Walker, Annabelle Benoit, Patricia (Lou) Kinslow and along with a large circle of relatives & friends. She was predeceased by her parents Duncan & Felicitaus Benoit, three brothers; Stephen Benoit, Clayton Benoit, Terrence Benoit and her sister Melinda Hynes. Visitation will take place at Point au Mal Church on Monday March 11, 2019 from 4-9 p.m. with a Celebration of life at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 12, 2019. Inurnment will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in Point au Mal. In memory of Glenda, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society NL or a charity of one’s choice.
