Elden Mervin Bigknife
October 6, 1963- March 14, 2019
Elden Mervin Bigknife was called to his heavenly home on March 14, 2019 at the age of 55.
Elden was survived by his daughter Shanette, grandchildren Keiran, Talia, Taye, Heaven, Aiden, Carter; son Justin, grandchildren Justine, Hanna and Jesse. His loving mother Hilda, siblings Sharon, Cheryl (Jerry), Conrad (Shannon), Rhonda (Tom), Ian (Latishia), Buck, Dallas (Linda) and his grandmother Nancy Bitternone.
Elden was predeceased by his Dad, Mervin Bigknife, paternal grandparents Florence and Charles Bigknife and maternal grandfather John James Bitternose.
Wake will be held Monday, March 18, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. in the Okanese Learning Center, Okanese First Nation. Funeral service will be held the following day, on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the same location. Interment will follow in the Bigknife Family Cemetery, Star Blanket First Nation.
