1932-2019
With her family by her side, Dorothy Marie Steeves passed away
peacefully at the Tobique Valley Manor on March 1, 2019.
Dorothy was born in Moncton, New Brunswick on December 17, 1932. She
was the fourth of five children born to William Albert White and Ella
Mae Colpitts. Dorothy is predeceased by her husband George Henry
Steeves; brothers Arthur, Herman; two half-brothers, Herb, Carl; two
sisters, Beulah, Evelyn; and one son Ronnie Steeves.
Dorothy leaves behind children Linda Paine (late Peter) of Brighton,
England, George Steeves (Linda) of Plaster Rock, NB, Julie Steeves of
Spruce Grove, AB, Alice Chamberlain (Glen) of Moncton, NB, Brenda
McAllister (Tom) of Plaster Rock, NB, Barbara Steeves of Winnipeg, MB;
22 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 2 great great
grandchildren.
Resting at Brunswick Funeral Home with visitation on Saturday from 6-8
pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at 2 pm from
the funeral home. Rev. Jonathan McNair officiating. Interment will be
in the Currie Cemetery at a later date.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Tobique Valley Manor
Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover, NB.
