It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Dorothy “Dot” Ruth (Maisey) Munro which occurred at Rocmaura Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019. Born 1937, in Campbellton, NB, she was the daughter of the late Beverly “Buster” and Gertrude (Butler) Maisey. Dot was a devoted member of Stella Maris Catholic Church for several years. She was part of the CWL, Stella Maris Quilters and a volunteer with various committees.
Dot is survived by her son Robert Munro (Victoria) of Quispamsis; daughter Angela Merritt (Robert) of Saint John; brother Gerald Maisey of Belleville, ON; sister Karen Bolton of Campbellton, NB; sister-in-law Rita Munro of Springfield; grandchildren Lauryn and Morgan Munro and Richard, Amanda and Rylan Merritt; as well as several cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents, Dot was predeceased by her husband Robert, daughter Christine, brother-in-law Joe and sister-in-law Judi.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Friday, March 8th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place from the Fundy Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, March 9th at 10 a.m. followed by an interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
