Dorothy Alice Uzelac (nee Bratt)
Peacefully on March 22, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Daniel (2004). Much loved mother of Margaret Sprague (Chico), Mary Jane Aldous (Dave) and predeceased by her son Danny (1978). Cherished Bubba of Kevin (Heather), Jennifer (Anthony), Jody (Mike), David (Jody), Kimberly (Dante). Special Great-Bubba of Ashley, Josh, Ryan and Celia.
Lovingly remembered by her nieces and nephews. Dorothy enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts and her afternoons at Tim Horton’s. Special thanks to Gert and Carol for their friendship and rides, Season’s in Amherstburg for their compassionate care and Hotel Dieu Grace Health Care Geriatric Rehab and Palliative Care for their kindness.
If you so desire, donations to Transition to Betterness would be appreciated by the family.
Visitation Sunday March 24, 2019 from 3:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. Funeral Service Monday March 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Families First Amherstburg, 585 Sandwich Street. Fr. Greg Bonin officiating.
Burial to follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.
