Obituary of Donna Marie Wickenheiser
WICKENHEISER, Donna Marie
Donna Marie Wickenheiser was born on December 26, 1953, the youngest child and only daughter of Stanley and Mary Czemeres. On Thursday, March 21, 2019 Donna was reunited with her parents in heaven. She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Riley (Rochelle) and Kayla Wickenheiser; their father Claude; and her grandchildren, Hayden and Andi; brothers, Dwayne and Dale (Linda) Czemeres and their family, Ryan (Nikki) and their children Tara, Mitchell, Karlee, and Mike (Trish) and their children, Nate and Josh, and Shannon; and many other relatives and friends.
A farm south of Dysart was Donna’s childhood home. It was a place where many of us have gathered for food, drinks, lots of laughter, and great company. Donna was very active in sports and a fierce competitor. After high school, she moved to Regina and worked for Intercontinental Packers for many years. At a very young age arthritis changed Donna’s life but she continued to work at home for the family business. She enjoyed travelling and spending time in sunny Arizona and Mexico. Donna loved animals, especially her fur baby, Molly. Everyone had fun being around Donna. She had a great sense of humour, which she displayed until the very end. Donna’s view of life was always the bright side and she never wanted to burden family and friends with her troubles. She remained strong throughout her struggles.
Thank you to the staff on MICU and 6F at the Regina General Hospital and a special thank you to Donna’s soul sister, Cindy Dumba.
A celebration of Donna’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Donna may be made to Caring Hearts, 200-2150 Scarth Street, Regina, SK S4P 2H7.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Donna
