Bob Mueller, age 90, formerly of Stratford, passed away peacefully at People Care Centre, Tavistock on Wednesday, March 20, 2019. Bob was born December 17, 1928 in Mornington Township, son of the late George Mueller and the former Eleanor Neeb. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy Mueller (nee Tanner). Loving father of George Mueller (Marlene) and Joan Serrao (Stephen). Grandfather of Ashley Aarts (Chris), Sarah Gillies (Tyler), Melissa Bierhuizen (Rod) and Adam Parco (Natalie). Great-grandfather of 9 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sister Fern Reiser, sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Mueller and Charlotte Vines and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers, Roy and Ross Mueller, sister Jean Gervais, sister-in-law Mary Rider and brothers-in-law Harry Rider and Harvey Vines. Bob was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Stratford. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of People Care Tavistock for their love and care. Visitation at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 22, from 5 – 8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Laustsen officiating. A reception at the funeral home will follow the interment in Avondale Cemetery.
