Barbara M. Coates
Barbara M. Coates, 91, of Golden Years
Estates, passed away peacefully within the comforts of her residence
on Saturday, March 30, 2019. Born in McKees Mills, she was the
daughter of the late Charles and Alfreda (Biggs)
Barbara worked for the T. Eaton Co.
Ltd. She was a member of Harrisville United Church, the UPCW and was a
former church steward. She was also a member of the Frank H. Tingley
#5 O.E.S., and served as a volunteer for many years with The Moncton
Barbara will be sadly missed by her
sister, Lucille Colpitts of Riverview, as well as several nieces,
nephews and extended family members.
In addition to her parents, Barbara
was predeceased by her husband, H. Vernon Coates; sisters, Evelyn and
Joan, as well as her brother, Moody.
A Service to celebrate and honour
Barbara’s life will be held at Fergusons Funeral Home
Chapel, 1657 Mountain Road, Moncton (858-1995) on Wednesday, April 3,
2019 at 11:00 am with Rev. Charlotte Youland officiating. Frank H.
Tingley No. 5, O.E.S Memorial Service will be held prior at 10:45 am.
Reception in the Funeral Home Reception Centre following the service.
Interment will be held in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens.
In memory of Barbara, donations to The
Friends of the Moncton Hospital Foundation, Harrisville United Church
or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated.
