Obituary of Ann Lorraine Cavers
CAVERS, Ann “Lorraine”
Mom passed away peacefully on Monday, March 18, 2019 in her 87th year. She attended Haultain School and Central Collegiate. Mom then graduated from Regina General Hospital as an RN in 1953 and loved her career as a nurse. Long after her retirement in 1997, she was quick to remind people she was a nurse. Mom and Dad loved to travel, enjoying ski trips and winters in Palm Springs. She will be lovingly remembered for her strong will, her love for her family, and her great laugh. Mom was predeceased by her husband Bob; son Jeffrey; brother David; and her parents, Lorna and Harold Scott. She is survived by her sons, Reid (Kathi) and David; grandchildren, Renee (Ryan), Jaime, Jeffrey, and Evan; and her precious great-granddaughters, Lila, Ivy, and Hazel. At mom’s request, there will be no memorial service. Instead there will be a private family gathering at a later date to remember this great lady. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favourite charity would be gratefully accepted.
