Obituary of Andrew William Naugler
It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Andrew Naugler, on February 22, 2019. He was best known by many as “Uncle Andy”.
Andy enjoyed his late-night trips to Tim Hortons, or stopping by relatives and friends for a quick coffee. Andy devoted most of his free time to his grandson, Brody. Andy was dedicated to his job of many years as a longshoreman with the International Longshoremen’s Association.
Andy is Survived by his life partner Gail Corkum; daughter Natasha Corkum (Devin); grandson, Brody; aunts Fran Saulnier, Dorthy Macissac, and Helen Rozell; brother Bruce Naugler (Yvone); nieces and nephews Mathew Wiseman (Nicki), Brandi Smith (Harry), Rodney Naugler (Jen), Alisha Mackinnon, Michael Pottie (Ashley), Terry Pottie (Steven), Jeff Naugler, Tim Naugler (Cathy), Tracy Naugler, and many great nieces and nephews.
Andy will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Andy is predeceased by his father, William Mackinnon; his mother, Barbara Warner; uncle, Sonny Stacey; sisters, Cathy Pottie, and Beverley Izzard; brother, Michael Naugler.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Fairview Legion, Branch #142. Memorial donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4P 1B9 (902-679-2822).
