Passed away peacefully at Cambridge Memorial Hospital on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the age of 76. Daughter of the late James and Helen Wright. Loving companion of 32 years to James Haney. Cherished mother of Nancy Byrne (Jerry), Kathie Chamney (Mark), and Bill Babb (Julie) and step-mother of James Haney, Bruce Haney (Penny), Ron Haney (Monica), and Theresa Robertson (Mike). Beloved grandmother of 18 grandkids and 17 great grandkids. Valerie will also be sadly missed by her siblings Joyce Sidey (Tom), Denis Wright, Helen Falls, James Wright (Alana), Lorna Beaudoin, and Nancy Davis (Randy), as well as many extended family members and friends. Visitation will be held at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge, on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. and again on Saturday, March 2, 2019 from 9 a.m until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
