1934-2019
Shirley M.
Brown, 84 years of age, of Dartmouth, passed away
peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Gables Lodge, Amherst
NS. Born in Middlewood, NS, she was a daughter of the late
Robie & Letha (Whynot) Connolly.
Shirley worked as a supervisor at K Mart
for many years.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her
daughters, Dennean Hamilton (Rob) of Severn ON ,Tamara
Williams of Riverview, NB. Grandchildren Ryan, Lukas, Erika and
Mariah; Sisters Elsie Wolfe of Brooklyn and Betty Getson of
Bridgewater.
Besides her parents, Shirley was
predeceased by sisters Kathleen and Rosabelle, brothers Lione and
William.
Shirley’s life revolved around
her family especially her grandchildren whom she loved
dearly. In her leisure time she enjoyed to
crochet. She loved seeing all her Tim’s friends
every morning and sharing stories.
A special thank you to all the staff at
Gables Lodge for the compassionate care that Shirley
received.
Arrangements are under the care and
direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home,
70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777). No visitation by request. A
celebration of life will be held at a later date in
Liverpool.
