Peacefully on Tuesday February 19, 2019 at the Brantford General Hospital with her daughter Martha (Jim Wilson) by her side. Maria is survived by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Retired from Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hopital, Housekeeping after 30 years of service. Visitation will be held on Tuesday February 25, 2019 at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville (one block East of Kerr Street) from 11 am with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 1 pm. Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
