AMROW, KENNETH SHEPHARD (SHEP)
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth Shephard (Shep) Amrow ,49 of Halifax on January 25. Shep passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. He was the son of Ken and Sheila Amrow, Toronto, Ontario.
He will be remembered for his love of life and kindness. He lit up every room he walked into and often had everyone singing along to a tune with him. He was a member of the Halifax Regional Police. He loved to travel, camping by the river, was fascinated by airplanes and was a devoted fan of the Calgary Flames. He is survived by his spouse Lynn Larade, Halifax; parents Ken and Sheila; sister Kelly Amrow, Yellowknife; inlaws Tommy and (Shirley Anne) Larade, Cheticamp; brother in law Danny (Alicia) Larade, Yellowknife; niece Lauren; nephew Nate all of Yellowknife, and puppy Cooper. A memorial service will be held at 4pm on Thursday January 31 at JA Snow Funeral Home at 339 Lacewood Dr Halifax, with reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations in Shep’s memory can be made to the QEII foundation.
