Obituary of John Lunnon
LUNNON: John Franklin –
A resident of Chatham and formerly of Blenheim, John Lunnon passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the age of 78.
Born in Blenheim, John was son of the late Edward and Annie (Maynard) Lunnon.
Beloved husband of 55 years to Annette Josette Lunnon (nee Boulay).
Loving father of Jacques Boulay Lunnon (Cheryl Ann) and Patricia Lunnon.
Proud grandfather of Heather Lunnon, Edward Lunnon, Jonathon ‘Jon’ North, Casey North, Leben Wood, Tiffani Lunnon-Pels, Alan Palmer and Ashley Palmer.
Great-grandfather to Donald Eden-North, Walter Eden-North and Mark Eden-North, Jr.
Dear brother to Bert Lunnon (Jean) and Paul Lunnon.
Predeceased by his brothers Peter Lunnon and Keith Lunnon.
Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
John retired from Standard Tube after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, watching hockey and wrestling and playing cards with family and friends. He loved camping at Terrace Beach with his family.
As per John’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be announced at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim at a later date.
Donations made in memory of John to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
