It is with heavy hearts that we announce the
passing of John Thomas Kidney of Fredericton on February
4th, 2019. He was
68. Born in Woodstock NB he was a son of the late Winfred
and Florence (Bryant) Kidney.
John was a great father and one of a kind, he
was honest, had integrity, kind and generous, a real
gentleman. John loved his trucks, always keeping them shined
up, especially the chrome. He worked for M.W.
Price and sons. He was previously employed by Midland
Transport, RST and Sunbury Transport. He received the
Million Mile Award for safe driving. He was widely known as
“Cowboy” during his long-haul trucking years.
He will be deeply missed by his two sons; David
and Taylor, a brother Roger (Jackie), a sister Judy and his best
friend Cara Paul, as well as several nieces and
nephews.
By John’s request there will be no
visitation or funeral service. Burial will be in the family
plot at the Kirk Cemetery
Donations in John’s memory may be
made to DunRoamin stray and rescue, Lung Association or a charity of
the donor’s choice.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
Bishop’s Funeral Home, Fredericton, NB (458-1885).
