The death occurred peacefully surrounded by her loving family at home
on Saturday, February 23, 2019 of Imelda Pearl MacAulay (Myers) of
Stratford, P.E.I, aged 72 years. Beloved wife of Harold and loving
mother of Kim (Bill) Storey, Krista (Trevor) MacLeod, Kerri (Nathan)
Rossiter and Bradley (Emily) MacAulay. Lovingly remembered by her 11
grandchildren: Hillary, Colby, Brady and Ella Storey, Aiden Stewart,
Connor, Jaxson, and Bradley Lou MacAulay, Wyatt and Malcolm MacLeod
and Cohen Rossiter. Imelda was born in Head of Hillsborough to the
late Frank and Valeria Myers. Survived by her five brothers: Leonard,
Kevin, Leslie, Francis and John Myers; sister Valerie Laybolt; their
families and sisters-in-law. Pre-deceased by husband Millar Sanderson,
siblings Mary Harper, Betty Paquet, and Cecil and Jimmy Myers and
parents-in-law Doug and Catherine Sanderson and Syl and Rita MacAulay.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home until Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., then
to Our Lady of the Assumption Church, Stratford for funeral mass at
11:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery,
Charlottetown at a later date. Visitation on Tuesday from 5-8 p.m.
Memorial donations may be made to Queens Home Care-Palliative Care
Program.
