On February 17, 2019, Mrs. Hazel Jane Jacobson of Mayerthorpe, AB passed away at the age of 86 years.
Hazel is survived by her loving partner, Jim Brooks; sons, Bruce (Ruby) LaBoucane of Mayerthorpe, Gordon (Lori) LaBoucane of Mayerthorpe, daughter, Denise (Jeff LeClercq) LaBoucane of Beaumont; grandchildren, Michael (Kathy), Jessie (Dustin), Bradley, Bonnie (Tyler), Shalin and Tanner (Tarin); great-grandchildren, Tamara, Tate, Letty, Emily and Everly; and many more dear relatives and friends. Predeceased by her daughter, Gloria; parents, Ludwig and Betsy Jacobson; six brothers; and five sisters.
Thank you to the staff of Pleasant View Lodge for the compassionate care shown to Hazel, Jim and the family.
A private service will be held with Reverend Ruth Lotholz officiating. Interment in Mayerthorpe Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Friends of the Lac Ste. Anne Foundation, Box 908, Mayerthorpe, AB T0E 1N0.
