Gwenyth Garton – Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Palliative Care Unit with her family by her side. Gwen Kilborn, in her 91st year, was the beloved wife of the late Ted Garton (February 11, 2002). Loving mother of Mark (Wanda), Gwen (Rick) Walden, Susan (Rob Nicholson; and the late Jim Coombs), Peter, the late Paul (January 22, 2017), Joe (Monica), and Barbie MacDougall. She was the cherished grandmother, and will be forever loved by her 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Gwen will be sadly missed by her family, friends, and all that knew her. A Celebration of Life will take place at the Mackey Funeral Home, 33 Peel Street, Lindsay (705-328-2721) on Saturday, February 23, 2019 from 11:00 – 1:00 p.m. If desired memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital – Palliative Care Unit or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
