WILSON, Grace H. – passed away peacefully at her home with her loving husband of 59 years, Tommy at her side on Friday, February 22, 2019. Grace was 79 years old. Sorely missed by her sons Edward (Shelagh) and Thomas (Jennifer). Proud grandma of Alex and Erica. Remembered by her loving dog Kaylee and many extended family members. Having met as teenagers Grace and Tommy dedicated their lives to each other in a truly enviable marriage only the power of cancer could interrupt. Having worked with the Red Cross, deaf and blind, St. Vincent de Paul, marriage preparation courses and faith-based retreats, Grace’s seemingly humble life has touched many in ways she would never have sought to take credit for – that’s just who she was and will forever be remembered as. Special thanks to Dr. McNeil and the Hospice Outreach Team. Family and friends will be received at the TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday, February 26th, from 7-9 p.m. and again Wednesday, Feb 27th from 1-2 p.m. with a service to follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation has taken place. If desired, donations in Grace’s memory may be made to the Stedman Community Hospice.
